Mock tests can be given that simulate the actual driving test experience. This enables you to measure your driving ability against the standard required for the actual test. It is important to follow the instructor's directions and stick to the test route. Failure to stick to the route will result in test failure. The driving instructor will record any errors made during the test and categorize them accordingly. You will then be advised whether you have passed or failed.
Allow for a 1.5-hour period for a restricted licence mock test. This includes (if necessary) a pretest drive, vehicle checks, and a debrief at the end. A full licence mock test only requires an hour.
Restricted licence mock test (1.5 hours): $100.00
Full licence mock test (1 hour): $80.00
Car hire for restricted/full licence tests.
Car hire is available for tests at the discretion of the driving instructor. If there is any doubt about the suitability of a candidate, a mock test will be given. If the mock test results in failure, more lessons may be needed before the car can be hired.
For a restricted licence test, the vehicle needs to be hired for a 2-hour period, which includes a pretest drive. For the full licence test, a 1.5-hour period of hire is required.

The theory you learned for your learner's test is incorporated into your driving lessons. Our driving instructors will assess your first lesson to determine your current skill level. They will then track your progress using a checklist of the tasks you need to master to pass your restricted or full licence test. We will inform you about areas you need to improve and, based on our professional opinion, recommend the number of lessons you might need.
You will learn to drive in a modern, dual-controlled automatic car, meaning the instructor can assist with the brake and accelerator while you are driving if needed. This ensures you feel safe and comfortable while learning or improving your driving skills. Our cars are automatic; therefore, we do not offer manual transmission lessons.
